Our Story
Brendan and Julia first met over a decade ago at college and quickly became friends, not realizing that a few years (and a few cities) later, their paths would cross again in NYC. What began as a casual reunion quickly turned into something more — three years of long distance, countless hours spent on FaceTime, and hundreds of train rides from DC to NYC and back again!
In 2023, they finally moved to the same city together — but this time, they moved across the pond to London. This was their most exciting chapter yet as they made new friends, traveled to new cities, finished graduate school, and started new jobs.
Now, they’re happily settled back in NYC (in the place where it all started), and can’t wait to begin their next adventure together.
Brendan proposed to Julia on the Seine in Paris, in front of the Eiffel Tower. He had a bench engraved in their favorite park in London near their first apartment together with the words he said when down on one knee:
“In this lifetime and the next, in this city and every other, will you marry me?”
